When you travel abroad it is nice to keep that link to home. It can be even more important if you determine to reside or work there. For me when I dwelt and worked in Turkey for 6 months there was really little I missed aprt from my favorite TV stations. I did not realise how much I'd miss the news, Newsnight, Match of the Day and merely the general documentaries and entertainment on the main TV channels. Certainly there's some amazing shows and comedies on US TV but the price you pay is normally incessant advertisements breaks ever few minutes. Naturally here is the exact age of cyberspace and all of the TV stations in Britain broadcast the majority of their content online. BBC iPlayer and ITV player function extremely well and are very simple to use.Stations 4 and 5 have something similar and if you've a SKY subscription - Sky Go is extremely striking. At first it seems so easy, simply fire up your notebook (or connect it to the TV) afterward you see the BBC news everynight. However there's a catch, it does not work outside the UK, at least it didn't until I video about watching UK TV abroad
