When you travel abroad it's fine to maintain that link to house. It can be much more important if you choose to live or work there. For me when I dwelt and worked in Turkey for 6 months there was very little I missed aprt from my favorite TV stations. Certainly there is some wonderful shows and comedies on US TV but the price you pay is usually incessant marketing breaks ever few minutes. Of course this is actually the exact age of cyberspace and all the TV stations in Britain circulate the majority of their content online. ITV player and bBC iPlayer function exceptionally well and are quite simple to use.Stations 4 and 5 have something similar and if you have a SKY subscription - Sky Go is really impressive. At first glance it looks so easy, simply fire up your notebook (or connect it to the TV) then you watch the BBC news everynight. But there's a catch, it does not work outside the UK, at least it did not until I video about watching UK TV abroad
