When you travel abroad it is pleasant to keep that connection to residence. It can be much more important if you decide to live or work there. For me when I dwelt and worked in Turkey for 6 months there was very little I missed aprt from my favorite TV stations. Sure there is some amazing shows and humors on US TV but the cost you pay is typically incessant promotion breaks ever few minutes. Naturally this is the age of cyberspace and most of the TV stations in Britain broadcast most of their content online. BBC iPlayer and ITV player function incredibly well and are really easy to use.Stations 4 and 5 have something similar and if you have a SKY subscription - Sky Go is truly impressive. At first it seems so easy, just fire up your notebook (or connect it to the TV) afterward you watch the BBC news everynight. However there is a grab, it does not work outside the UK, at didn't until I found this video about watching UK TV abroad
