Having access to a VPN can be actually useful if you spend plenty of time online. It may provide security and privacy, especially when travelling using insecure Wifi hot spots at hotels, cafes and airport. Additionally they may be used to avoid the multitude of filters and blocks which can be applied to the best web sites of the world's.
